Terms of Service

Vow

Last updated August 2026

These terms cover your use of Vow. By signing in, you agree to them. Vow is early pilot software — plain-English terms now, to be refined before a wider launch.

What Vow is

A habit app for small groups: you make a shared daily commitment and keep a streak together. It's for personal, non-commercial use with people you know.

Your account

You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity on your account. Use a real name your group will recognize, and keep your check-ins honest — the whole thing runs on trust.

Your content

You own the notes and proof media you create. By posting them you grant Vow the limited right to store them and show them to the members of that vow, so the product can function. Don't upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that isn't yours to share. We may remove content or suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Availability & “as is”

Vow is provided as is, without warranties. It's a pilot: features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable or lose data. Don't rely on it as your only record of anything important. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.

Ending your use

You can leave a vow, or delete your account entirely, at any time from Settings. We may end the pilot or suspend accounts that break these terms. Deleting your account removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. Questions? vowapp.contact@gmail.com.
